As a young athlete Jen was a multi sport standout participating in track, soccer, and lacrosse. Jen went on to play soccer at the collegiate Division I level while attending West Point. She switched to club lacrosse in order to enjoy the college experience, and soon found her niche as a casually competitive athlete.

Seeking the same camaraderie after graduation, which she once found in team sports, Jen started CrossFitting during a deployment to Iraq in 2010. Upon her redeployment she continued to use the CrossFit methodologies, albeit in a very scaled manner, to help rehab her shoulder after a string of surgeries. Going through the injury and then healing process is what inspired Jen to continue her military career as a Physical Therapist. Jen graduated in 2015 from the highly competitive Baylor University Physical Therapy program with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Jen has a genuine passion for combining her knowledge of CrossFit and human movement to help treat and improve movement patterns as well as performance for the soldiers and athletes she comes into contact with on a daily basis.

When not in the gym, Jen spends her time trail running, traveling, and trying to tire out her two dogs.
